Gifts of appreciated securities and closely held stock can be extremely beneficial—both to you and to the McCoy College of Business.

Gift planning offers you a unique opportunity to leave a legacy gift to the McCoy College of Business through your estate plans. Once a year during the Family Campaign, the faculty and staff of Texas State University may choose to give through regular installments automatically applied through payroll deduction. All McCoy College of Business Foundation funds are options to support through this campaign. A pledge is an agreement to give a gift to the McCoy College of Business Foundation over a period of time, generally up to five years, with scheduled payments by check or credit card. If you have already benefited from the immediate tax deduction offered by a donor-advised fund (DAF),
you should know that the McCoy College of Business Foundation is an IRS qualified public charity and thus is eligible to receive contributions from your DAF.

If you are 70 ½ or older, you may be looking for a unique way to advance the mission of the McCoy College of Business.
